Worked, travelled, back to uni

Okay it's abit too long of a gap. Don't have the blogging mood! If I'm free I online or watch tv. Obviously online doesn't involve blogging. XP 

So last long sem break I managed to find a job! Quite a relaxing one I guess since i only worked 4 out of 7 days. I still had time to go out but still earn some money, which I all spent on a phone. An awesome phone XD. Btw, I worked at Mochi Sweets @ Sunway Pyramid. They have branches all around. And I won't say that I'm a mochi ambassador (eventhough I got cheeks) 'cos its quite pricey but worth to indulge once in awhile :P. 

Then it was Raya time that I went to Aussie! So to me this year was like raya never happened lol. 

We went to singapore and transit to aussie. Too bad no time to shop in singapore. :/

Upon touching down in sydney, we went straight to parents' uni- NSW :)

And I underestimated the weather. The wind was blowing kao kao and drizzling. SUPER COLD.

Then we went to markets, bondi beach the next day. No interesting pics skip skip.

Next next day on our way to Wollongong we stop by this lookout. Pretty high can see the coasts.

My mum went to meet her cousin there so we had lunch there.

Some drinks-pink lemonade, hot chocolate and WHITE CHOCOLATE!

Then we continued our way to some kampung area. Tumut or something like that.
Another mum's cousin there so we stayed there 'cos its near snowy mountain which we're going the following day.

Me & sis took skiing lessons 'cos we obviously have no experience in skiing 'cos we just can't.
It costs us like &^!@#$$#%$!! But whattodo no learn sure no fun.

In the end waste money for hiring the gears and paying for the lift.
Annie wants to live in canada 'cos she loves skiing so much lol.
Me? enjoyed it. Would definitely do it again but muscles ache for days!!

Next day we head back to sydney.
Stopped by canberra-aussie's capital city.
We went to an art museum, visit ANU and catch diner there.

It was 5-6ish and we barely caught the sunset view. So pretty :')

The next day I'm gonna skip it 'cos I lost my roxy cap which I bought in Perth that day. Devastated urgh.
Last day before we go to the airport, we went to the mall for some last minute shopping since I didn't really buy anything.
 Buy aussie brand which we don't have here :D

After all that I'm back to uni life. Mid-semester break now, means I've done 1 1/2 sems! Can't wait for this to be over.
I wanna go UK! All my frens left me here T.T

Sem break

So my sem break started right after my finals for my 1st sem. Seriously no hope in scoring anything good. Anyways, since then I've been planning/finding for jobs to fill my sem break (cos I need money lol). One week of finding and I got no where 'cos most of them only want full-timers, but I can only work for a month. So I wasted alot of time looking for the 'ideal' job. Typical mentality of humans: the longer we look for a job the better the job will be. In the end I decided not to waste time and just pick up a part-time job in pyramid. It's quite okay I guess, considering that I just sell pre-made stuffs and get to sit, drink, eat whenever I want. I started on the first weekend itself and I'm quitting right before raya.

And then the tragic of my grandfather's passing happened last friday. He was suffering from cancer so I guess his passing was for the better. The funeral lasted for 3days and I was just suffocated by the smoke. >.< Funerals are costly, die also need money lol. I guess I wanna cremate since the body is just physical. Rest in peace gonggong.

Lastest thing is olympics! Lol seriously I don't really watch those, I only like those sports that are fast-paced like swimming or achery. Fencing to me looks like some children's poke game lol. "Poke, you're dead!" Heh
China is trying to take all the gold seriously. Anyways, still support LCW so we can get a holiday or baskin robbins. :D

I had my mid sem break last last week and it was well....too short to do anything. Didn't work, forgot what I did, spent money. Sigh. Its like not long ago I was holidaying and now I'm juggling with 3 assignments, not fun lo. I think I should change course next year. : /
Every lecturer says this is the toughest course, hard to score, in a way its a good quality degree course, but will your employers know that? Will they care? I'm not doing good. :( Am I doing the right course? The more I think. the more hopeless it gets. I don't really want to study anything. I just want to get a good job, earn money, spend money. Well, I'm best at spending money.
This year I've learnt many new things, made new friends, better than last year? Too early to tell. Haha
I just want to get my exam over and have my long break. :D

Bye april hi may

Actually I've draft an empty post under 2nd May but its abit cheating 'cos it was like one week ago............. But hey! May is here! There's nothing exciting to look forward to on May actually =.= Just a couple assignments due and one week semester break (like finally). Feel like I've been studying since forever. Who said uni life is honeymoon time? After secondary school I don't think there's such thing as 'the honeymoon period', so kids, enjoy while you can, next thing you know, you'll be working in the outside world. 


Well, nowadays I only have an hour break the most. Sounds so sad right. But my fridays are off =)
Except today well I had 4hour replacement class which makes people cuckoo after the whole thing. And last friday I went to work alone in Taipan. Heh good pay what to do keep buying things -.- It was quite a simple job just collecting data with whoever and giving out free samples. Its good to see how people react to people like me (at that day), thinking I'm some salesperson which I'm not. Fact is I just collect data and give free things. So I have to be smart and said FREE loud enough to attract people. Luckily it was just a 2 hour job but it made me sweat like a waterfall considering the hotter than hot weather. And I don't talk like some hard-core sales person that's why I didn't collect much data : / to me I guess? 


How's uni been treating me? Not so good. Homework, assignments, due dates, urgh. So far I never heard anyone enjoy uni lol. I miss my chem and bio and maths :( Can't wait for finals followed by my long holiday! And uni makes me spend alot of money. @@ Money on food, money on clothes, people wear so nicely I feel embarrassed by my laziness of dressing up. Haha whatisthis


Anyways, ZARA has finally opened in Pyramid! So freaking big! Too bad no opening sales. Still awed by the size of the shop eventhough I went there like 3 times in 2 days. Haha no that doesn't mean I'm free.

Happy Mother's Day

Uni life!!

Hi peeps! 

I started uni since march and so far so good. (Iguess?) Learning so many new things and assignments all coming in slowly. I would say I'm quite busy? 'Cos no more 3-4hours breaks but fridays are off!! My maximun break is only 2 hours :/ 

As you see, I drive to uni everyday, so sien, so I always have my moo-moo!

Lectures are like 200+ people in an audi room and no attendance is taken, so its like you wanna go you go you don't wanna go your business. Haha but I go of course, not like I know any econs or accounts. *sobs

Lecturers are like super fast 'cos everyone knows most of the things. Fortunately, I met a friend who is also a science student. :) Yay happy die me I'm not alone.

So yea, its quite a tough course and there are no subjects that are easier to score or anything like that. That's what every lecturers say and its true, even english grammar test highest like 7/10, how to die? TT

I think my results this year is going down the drain, I have to save it.

Birthday?

So it's my birthday yesterday....................haha there was no cake or anything grand.

Just woke up about noon, took abit of time curling the hair and off to pyramid! (again)

'Cos the day before I went to pyramid for dinner and watched John Carter. Kinda boring movie I would say. Ending was cool but still lame storyline. And I finally tried Delicious for the first time! It wasn't as delicious as it sounds but alot of people dine there despite the expensive price. A high price without the quality taste means its not worth it! Haha. Tasted the carbonara and it was like other people can do better than this and with a cheaper price. And the lamb was, what a lamb. Haha prefer TGIF's lamb much better. But it was a good day and I'll maybe go back there to Delicious to try their desserts 'cos I heard that was their specialty but I was too full to try it.

So on my birthday I went shopping in the afternoon with sis to find a bag and well, buy anything that I need. I'm starting uni on wednesday! Sob sob :/ Hope I get a nice timetable unlike last year. So Annie got me a hair bow pin as shown below:

At night went out to have dinner at Chillis, Empire! Really great food always over eat when I'm there. This time I did not eat their burger (and I so need to eat that right now) and ordered lamb again haha. I'm determined to find the best lamb you see. And well we tried so many new stuff there and oh its so good. There was the triple play where they have 3 different starters so we could try them all and they were ALL good so next time order that to have triple goodness (Y)! Oh and the lamb was pretty good 'cos there wasn't the smelly lamb smell at all and the mash potato is yumm.

Another thing is I got a new laptop!

'Cos the old one was getting abit cuckoo. Technically this is mine hah. Its an acer 4752G in light purple. :D I've learned alot about laptops before making a decision and thanks to sud that started me off with all the infos! haha For now the only bad thing about acers is that they have small arrows (up down left right) so I can't play my tetris here! Luckily I've reached the peak before uni starts haha. So that's all for now! Shall go skating again! Thanks to sunway I got rm8 skating vouchers! haha Tata!

Matte nails (sounds like mad news) everyone!

I have no idea why I'm crazy for matte paints like on cars and black seems to stand out most in the matte way, to me that is.

OPI has it (but not yet in Malaysia I think) and etude house has it (other places I'm not sure)! They have limited colours, only pastel colours that is light which I don't really like. I've tried a few colours and now it seems like normal nail polish. == Another thing is they dry really fast (which is good) but that means a thin layer like that will chip off easily. Maybe applying multiple layers will work or applying base coat beforehand but applying TOP COAT will just be silly isn't it? ;) I wanted to buy the etude house one but lately I don't bother with nail polish so I'm still thinking.....By the time I made up my mind people already start the trend lol. Anyways, you can google image 'matte nails' and see yourself for other colours. :D

One more thing is that I think I've quite decided that I'll be doing Account&Finance 'cos I can't go in to any good pharmacy schools (so picky right). Big change but I feel that God led me this way so He can bless me better. :) At least I just need to study 3 years haha so used to not studying already.

I won't say that I'm rotting at home. I enjoy being at home as much as going out haha. I've just finished my 5th book after reading 4books last year holidays and abandoned the last one haha. Imma get Cecilia ahern's new book! Tata!

You could have think of it as just a tuesday and you won't sound so depressing and desperate. Eventhough its hard to not see couples in malls haha. Weirdly it seems that everyone is so free on valentines day and everyone don't have work or classes? Wishing anyone 'Happy valentines day' would make you or other people happier isn't it? :)

LUNAR NEW YEAR

Xin Nian Kuai Le everyone! Actually it's not like I'm at home most of the time haha. So for CNY's eve this year, we had our reunion at Seremban with my dad's side. Dunno what restaurant was that but well, we had the usual full course chinese meal with like 9 dishes or so. Sad to see how I did not change heh. And then everybody started asking what you studying now and they start on what course is good and what is not. And I don't think its about what I like any more. HEH.

Next day which is the first day of CNY, my family went down to Ipoh to celebrate with my mum's side. Once again, a small boy holding an Ipad and gaming. =.= Saw alot of new Ipads this new year so my mum say she gonna buy one too. Hah. At night eat full course chinese meal again. But eventhough the meal the day before was nice, this was BETTER. Have to say it's really good. Awhhh. I stayed the night at Ipoh and the next day we went to Taiping. Well, it's my first time there as I remember. Visited so many of mum's relatives that I don't know. Some never seen them before and mum was like ''this is your............ ____ah yi and that is the husband.........._____sook'' great la. Nowadays just auntie uncle good enough la. Just before we left ipoh we ate breakfast at about 9am. Just when we reached taiping at about 1pm we eat again. Full course chinese meal again! Wahh..full die me haha.

Right on that day we came back to home sweet home and there was the JAM. Even I couldn't sleep in a jam 'cos it looks so sad and slow. LOL

Next day we all laze at home and wait for people to visit me and the next day we went to visit my babysitter and collect annie's results and the next day (today) I went to teacher melinda's house 'cos annie was going for like an hour and I wouldn't want to drive back and forth.

All in all it was a good week's rest. Gotta start finding a job again 'cos I don't think I'll be studying yet. At least not february. I'm starving now. Makan! *disappear*

Yea it's a freakin' weekend

Not working today! Fact is, I was working last weekend. First time promoter and nope I never wanted anyone to visit me while I'm working or buy stuff from me. I have to say its seriously tiring and when I'm tired it shows on my face. Like -.- whatever. Haha which totally does not help in sales. Plus I'm like dehdrated 'cos they wouldn't let us bring water in. (As if they really want my breath to stink or have a sore throat) It really does make sense that they don't let us bring our own water or provide us any water. Anyways, I did it for 2 days, standing from 12-9 in not-so-comfortable shoes is a no-no. Carrying some heavy pouch gave me backaches. Holding an iPad burdened me eventhough its kinda cool showing people the demo game. Haha.

Guess what I'm selling? haha you couldn't have guessed.

But its a good experience :) I don't mind standing if I get my water lol. I stopped doing this weekend (hahahahha) 'cos me friends not doing anymore and I am too unenergized. Another thing is I don't get my money till like a month or more later! AHHHHH Totally not motivated to continue doing anymore.

Then on the thursday, I went to work as an usherer at Sunway Resort Hotel & Spa. Haha first time again and much fun-ner than the promoter job! At first I was abit doubtful 'cos I'm gonna be doing it alone. It turned out some people were there alone too so I made friends with them :)

I was basically paid to stand there most of the time. he real job was only like a few hours. Haha. It was actually quite a major event called the BrandLaureate SME Awards. So I was like the lieng mui of the night la, pin corsages, calling the winners to wait in the waiting room, say thank you after the event, and smile. Met many rich people haha. It's so cool they ate western food instead of the usual chinese. The ballroom was like so big. Our Ausmat night only used 1/3 of the ballroom! There's the media too! Oh so overwhelming hahaha.

Chinese New Year is just around the corner! I may be working again after I register for uni.

It's new year!

A whole new year is here! But somehow, I don't feel any 'new'. A year had past and I've reached again to the point of making decisions. Now, where to? It would be so much easier if I know what I want. Plus a little richer and smarter. Hoho I can go anywhere then. Oh well, I didn't have a good year but hopefully next year will be better? hah.
